Machells yard holds the largest stocks of reclaimed timber and stone in the north of England. We also have our own stonemason’s onsite who handcraft fireplaces and other bespoke stone features.

The joinery facilities can also be utilised should you need any fabrication work doing on trusses etc.

Fuel

As gas and electric prices continue to rise, more and more people are reverting to solid fuel stoves to heat their homes. Machells produce tons of oak sawdust and off cuts as a by-product.

We now compress our ultra dry oak shavings into briquettes which are ideal for use in solid fuel stoves and also prove extremely economical. Please contact us on
