Machells is a family run business, specializing for over 50 years in the supply of reclaimed timber, European and British Hardwoods and reclaimed stone.
From our (workshops) showroom and factory here in Leeds, West Yorkshire, we make products for both traditional and modern properties, allowing our customers to add their own unique touch to their homes within a budget which suits them.
Constantly striving to create original products, the quality of Machells unique finished products are often imitated but never matched!
Services
Here at Machells we offer an individual bespoke joinery service, we do however specialise in the manufacture of the following items:
- Solid and Engineered oak Flooring – Fully finished to your specifications.
- Internal and external oak doors –Customers can select from a wide choice of designs within our showroom and portfolio or create their own.
- Staircases – Supplied fully finished, manufactured to our customers design.
- Timber trusses and beams.
- Timber and Stone Fireplaces – Customers can choose from a selection in our showroom or we can recreate a customer’s own design.
History
Machells was established over fifty years ago, originally specialising in reclaiming timber and stone to be re-used by the general building trade.
Evidence of the rich diversity of buildings from bygone Yorkshire can still be seen in many of the architectural antiques that we still have in our 7 acre yard.
As time progressed the requirement for reclaimed flooring and doors surpassed the availability and in W. Machell Joinery Ltd was formed to manufacture the beautiful period products that we are now renowned for.
